Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on 2nd May 2014, Friday all over India by Hindus and Jains. It is celebrated with vigor and reverence. The offerings are made to Lord Vishnu and worshiped. It is also considered as the birthday of Lord Parshurama, the incaranation of Lord Vishnu.
