1) Veteran television actor Sudha Shivpuri, popularly known as ‘Baa’ because of her portrayal in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi passed away today  i.e. 20 May 2015.
2) She was an Indian stage, film and television actress.
3) She belonged to Rajasthan. She formed her own theatre company alongwith her husband. The theatre company, Dishantar produced several important plays which includes Aadhe Adhurey, Khamosh! Adalat Jari Hai and Tughlaq.
4) She shifted to Mumbai in 1970s and made her debut with Basu Chatterjee’s Swami.
5) She went on to act in many Hindi films like Burning Train, Vidhaata etc. and after a break from films, she acted in a few television serials.
