Ranbir Kapoor is the son of our desi superstars Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Born on 28th September 1982, Ranbir is the quintessential superstar yummy baby who is the heartthrob of this generation. 1. Barfi:
This is the story of a deaf and mute boy from a small town who falls in love with a beautiful girl. Though named Murphy at birth, he goes on to become famous as Barfi. It’s a story of how the girl falls for him too but fate has some twists and turn.
He kidnaps the mentally retarded daughter of his father’s employer to fund his dying father’s operation and ends up falling in love with her. This movie portrays their cute journey of love.
2. Rockstar:
This movie is all about love and passion. A story set in Delhi where a boy-next-door wants to make it big in life. He falls for the bombshell of the college, befriends her and gets his heart broken when she marries off to somebody else. And the endless journey of passion, pain, love and fame begins. He goes on to become a bratty superstar albeit with no love. The music of the movie makes your heart pound.
3. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani:
A regular boy who is chasing his dreams and gives up everything for his dram. A story about four friends whose lives are completely changed when they finally meet for a wedding, Bunny(Ranbir) who is living the life he dreams wishes to be ahead of time, ends up hurting people but knows how to nourish his dreams. Finally he learns how to let go of a few things to gain a few. This blockbuster was a favorite among people of all ages.
4. Wake Up Sid:
This flick is about a rick brat who is laid back in life and takes nothing seriously. He finds a friend in a much older woman who has just moved in new to the city. He flunks and decides to move out of the house in a fit of rage. Having nowhere to go, he moves in with the friend and tries to figure things out. When life gives him a second chance and he discovers his love for photography. Life comes in full circle when he finally realizes his love for the one girl who stands for him.
5. Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani
A comedy flick, this one may not be a big grosser but is definitely a cult favourite among the youth. President of Happy Club, Prem (Ranbir) is good for nothing. He finds the love of his life in Jenny (Katrina) who loves somebody else. Prem tries to help her out with her unlucky love and plays a true hero. But in the end, it’s all a happy ending when she realizes that Prem is the one for her.
6. Anjaana Anjaani
A story about two devastated souls who are out to commit suicide, meet each other due to their fate. They decide to end their lives but live their life to the fullest before they do. Trying to enjoy themselves to death, they fall for their imperfections. But when life has a different story in store, they move apart to realize the love they have for each other.
