Amitabh Bachchan,the name that does not need any introduction.He is THE legend of our bollywood industry. But the journey to the top wasn’t a piece of cake for BIG B.He had experienced rough and tough situations in his life too,just like every successful man.
He first gained popularity in early 1970s as the Angry young man of bollywood industry.He is the most nominated actor in major acting category at Filmfare,with 36 nominations overall. In addition to acting, BIG B has worked as a playback singer,film producer and television presenter,and was elected as the member of Parliament from 1984 to 1987.

Amitabh Bachchan gave 13 flop films before coming out with Zanjeer, his first hit Bollywood movie.
9- Don’t take no for an answer
It seems unbelievable that Mr Bachchan was once rejected by broadcaster All India Radio because they did not like his voice. Ironically, today the actor’s deep and impeccable dialogue delivery have acquired iconic status. He has, in fact, worked as a playback singer for 29 movies and in 2005, even lent his voice as narrator to Luc Jacquet’s Oscar-winning French documentary, March of the Penguins.
8- ‘Coolie’ Amitabh teaches to “Pick yourself up from disaster”
During the shooting of ‘Coolie’, he hit his abdomen on the corner of the table leading to a rupture in his spleen causing a lot of blood loss. In fact,he clinically died for eleven minutes. He later came out of it. Likewise, he has shown great courage and toughness which has helped him rise out of these disasters like a warrior.

In 1995, three years after his semi-retirement from the film industry, Big B founded Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited(ABCL), an event management and production firm.Although it achieved success in the first year,It subsequently suffered crippling losses in the following years, forcing Mr Bachchan to take up acting again in order to cope with massive business debts.
In July 2000, he came back with a bang to host the first instalment of reality series Kaun Banega Crorepati, which went on to become the most watched TV show in the country.

Even though he is one of the most experienced person in bollywood, he believes that learning in an ongoing process. Altough he has worked with actors, directors almost half of his age he never tried to display his image as a superior one.

Amitabh Bachchan always honoured his promise to his producer and director friends – as he rightly said in one of his films, ‘Lalsingh jaan de dega magar jabaan nahin jaane dega.’
2-You may be rich and famous, but you’re never above anyone.
Amitabh Bachchan is one of the few stars that take this seriously and it reflects in his behaviour.His interactions with his fans and the press are generally warm and gracious, and he makes a visible effort to remain humble and grounded.
On one such occasion, the actor even tweeted to his thousands of followers: ‘Dearest TV media and vans outside my home, please do not stress and work so hard.’

That is something, I guess,we all defy to a certain extent. Amitabh Bachchan teaches us to give your 100% in each and every task you do. His insistence to do action movies or his choice of working on projects like Boom and Nishabd, which bombed at the box office, the actor has always given his 100 per cent, never shying away from criticism or bad reviews.
