As many of the billionaires are from India. Billionaire definition is people having net worth more than 1 billion dollars or more than 6000+ crores INR.
In the world there are 1210 billionaires in total & India alone contribute to the 5% of this list i.e. 55 people in India have assets more than worth 6000+ crores INR. According to credit Suisse report there are 1.7 Lakhs millionaires in India i.e. people having assets more than 1 million dollars or 600+ crores INR. In this category falls more than 0.05% of population. The list is of the people having more than half million dollars i.e. 30+ crores INR.
