Many among us dress anyhow the way we like and hence give people a chance to pass a comment on us that we don’t have dressing sense or the dress is not looking good on you. Isn’t it very bad to hear all this? It is not really a matter to get upset but rather choose the dress that fits your body shape and it is very easy to then wear clothes that make you look good in it. Generally women are categorized into four categories circle (thick at the middle) Hourglass (curvy but evenly proportioned) Triangle (larger at the bottom) Rectangle (Straight up and down). So now we know the different categories of body shapes. Now let’s find what suits each body type.
- Circle Shape
You gain weight in the middle section and hence try and wear loose clothes that cover the extra fat in the middle section.
To Avoid: Anything that draws attention to the middle―like high-rise pants, belts, and waist-cinching tops.
To wear: You must wear slim pants, shift dress that cover the fatter section with high heels is a good choice say stylists.
- Triangle Shape
Such a shape is described with shoulders and torso are narrower then hips.
To Avoid: Shapeless, oversize sweaters; skinny jeans and pants; and skirts in a flimsy, curve-hugging fabric, like silk.
To wear: You must wear a wide leg pant that slenderizes the thighs creating a longer and slimmer silhouette. A tailored jacket works best as it makes you look even. A boat neck top too is a good choice as it makes your shoulders look equal to your hips. A – Line skirts is also a good choice for your body shape
- Rectangle Shape
This figure people are straight up and down and it is considered boyish figure. Opt for dresses that fit snuggly in the middle but flares at the bottom.
To avoid: Dresses that are tight all over and anything too flowy or unstructured around the waist, like Empire-waist tops.
To wear: Boot cut pants that fit slimly at the waist and ten flares out. Blazer jackets are preferable. Flair skirt since it gives the illusion of hourglass shape.
- The Hourglass
With an ample chest, a narrow waist and full hips but not full. It is equally proportionate.
To avoid: Shapeless or boxy styles, like baby-doll dresses, tunics, and oversize cardigans.
To wear: You must wear a high waist pant, a wrap dress and a V- NECK Top.
Just analyze which body shape you fit into and get the perfect dressing for your body shape and make others wonder and make you look great.
