Smriti Irani a.k.a. Tulsi Virani is a household name in, not only Mumbai, but the whole of India. Born on 23rd March 1976. She is a former model, actress and producer. She is one of the representatives of the powerful Modi Sarkar i.e. Bhartiya Janata Party. She is the newly elected Human Resource Development Minister. 1. Our very own star was called a “burden” at birth. The typical mentality of a crude hypocrite Indian put to use. Smriti managed to shut everybody up with her deeds.
2. Before she shot to fame with her modelling career, Smriti worked as a waitress at the very famous food outlet Mcdonald’s.

Though she did not manage to win, but she was one of the Miss India Finalists in 1998 along with another TV actress
Gauri Pradhan Tejwani.
4. Kyuki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu thi
This sitcom by Balaji Telefilms and director Ekta Kapoor will be one of the greatest achievements of Smriti. She managed to grab audiences in a very unlikely time slot. She made them cry, she made them laugh…. This, though silly in many ways will be eternally remembered.
