There are so many awesome food couples made in heaven, so many of which you haven’t even thought of! Some matches being a healthy combo, while some are indulgent treats and some complement each other so perfectly that they are used together all over the world. Here are some food matches you definitely should try:
Salt and Caramel: This is one classy combination of salty and sweetness. Try adding as a sauce over an ice-cream, filling in cookies, frosting on cupcakes, dip for fruit and the list just goes on. This combination is one of my favorites and my weakness.
Peanut butter and Banana: Another combo of salty and sweetness together in this couple. Try this combination for breakfast with peanut butter toast and banana. But why just this? Have you tried making this as a smoothie quick, easy and delicious!
Honey and Soy: This is again a salty and sweet combination which has been used for decades now! Try it in a stir fry, by making a sauce of honey and soy, which just add amazing flavor to every dish it’s added to. These flavors complement each other so well that you would want to try this with every food item possible.
Apple and Cinnamon: Now this is something- a healthy, glorious food match! How about making a smoothie or just adding it in an Apple pie or crumble? The sweet flavor of apple and the subtle flavor of cinnamon makes one deliciously healthy treat.
Chocolate and Chilly: I know you think am crazy to be even thinking about this combination, but believe me if you haven’t tried this, then you haven’t tasted one of best food matches of the world. Imagine one bite out of a delicious block of chocolate and then the flavor of spice from the prefect amount of chili..yumm. This is a perfect addition to any cozy winter day <3.
