Known for his prince like charm, Greek God appearance and strong screen presence. Here are a few of his successful hits
1. XMEN
Cast as Wolverine in Bryan Singer’s X-Men (2000)along with co-stars Patrick Stewart, James Marsden, Famke Janssen, and Ian McKellen VV .
“If you cage the beast the beast will get angry”:- one of the famous wolverine quote He later reprised his role in 2003’s X2: X-Men United, 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand, and the 2009 prequel X-Men Origins: Wolverine, although Troye Sivan played the younger version of James Howlett.
He also cameoed as Wolverine in 2011’s X-Men: First Class. He returned for the role of Wolverine again in 2013’s The Wolverine, a stand-alone sequel taking place after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, and reprised the character in the 2014 sequel X-Men: Days of Future. Apparently his wife was not so keen with him accepting the role of a wolverine but was glad he ignored it after witnessing the outstanding success of the XMEN series
2. VAN HELSING
Played the title role of monster killer Gabriel Van Helsing in the 2004 film Van Helsing. Jackman inspired by the Dutch vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing from Irish author Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula despite Despite mostly negative critical reviews, the film grossed over $300 million worldwide and was one of the biggest blockbusters released in 2004.
3. Australia
Australia, he co-starred Nicole Kidman. The movie was released in late November 2008 in Australia and the U.S.
Jackman played a tough, independent cattle drover, who reluctantly helps an English noblewoman in her quest to save both her philandering husband’s Australian cattle station and the mixed race Aboriginal child she finds there. The movie old-fashioned romantic epic set against one of the most turbulent times in the country’s history one of my favorite quote from the movie
“Most people like to own things. You know, land, luggage, other people. Makes them feel secure. But all that can be taken away. And in the end, the only thing you really own is your story.”
4. REAL STEEL
Played the role of hard-nosed boxer-turned-robot trainer Charlie Kenton, who ends up reluctantly caring for a son he fathered years ago after the boy’s mother death. His acting is flawless in communicating the extreme complex emotions that a grumpy yet motivating man portrays. All those who love all things sci fi a perfect movie to watch
5. LES MISERABLES
HUGH starred as Jean Valjean a prisinor who was forced to live under a lot of restrictions in the film Les Misérables, an adaptation of the musical. A must watch for those who need a change in the superhero demeanor that Jackman has portrayed in his other movies
So, from action to romance to serious roles this man has it all with even better performance to come in near future.
