You might have been working damn hard to achieve success but never achieve the kind of success you really want. Don’t be so obsessed of success. There is no guarantee that your business will work out the best for you, but risks can be managed with persistence. These are various simple measures which you need to stop performing in order to get what you really want- SUCCESS.
1- Stop neglecting your customers.
The customer relationship doesn’t end with product delivery, it actually starts. Many customers feel they are neglected by your services which lead in bad business image. If you think that you need more customers to grow, you will stop focusing on your existing customers. If your existing customers are not happy with the after-sales services, they can take their business to your competitor. Reinforce the meaning of “good customer relations” within your team. Give them happiness and show them that you really care after the product has been delivered.
2- Quit Stopping.
You and your business needs to quit stopping. Remember the last time when you had stop doing something just because it needed a little extra effort? It’s a saying that when you actually quit, you were almost there. It’s a stupid thing that when we go so far into something and then our brain tells us that it’s too hard. Who told you that life was going to be easy? If you always stop and think of quitting, let me tell you that you will never understand that feeling of touching the finishing line..
3- Stop setting unrealistic goals.
Setting unrealistic goals leads to disruptive environment in your business, as they can be hard to measure. Set goals that can be achieved. By stating that I don’t mean to say that set small goals that do not need much efforts. Set short-term and long-term goals as they are helpful to keep a track on where your business is heading towards. Measurable goals helps you focus on your “main vision”. Your milestone must be measurable and achievable within a specific time.
4- Stop saying tomorrow.
Procrastination is your time thief. Delaying things can only bring you the worst. Seriously STOP THIS. In a startup culture, procrastination means nearly end of your business without even starting it. This human habit can only make things difficult and unpleasant, and if this goes throughout your life, you will never be successful.
5- Stop compromising on your core values, vision and purpose.
Never compromise on your business’s vision. Your plans and approach should be made flexible but that should not disrupt your core value. Communicate your vision and values with your employees. A clear, concise vision of a common goal motivates your employees to achieve. If you know where you are going, it’s a lot easier to get there. As the company grows it will be hard to maintain core values and vision but never compromise on it. Successful people have this as one of their qualities for success.
If the path of success isn’t hard to reach, we wouldn’t appreciate it. Quit doing small things can led you to your success. There will be rewards along the way and there will be a great sense of accomplishment at the end.
