1) Kapil Sharma-
An Indian stand-up comedian, Actor, TV anchor and singer. He had made his place in the Forbes India Celebrity list for the first time in 2013 by securing 93rd rank but has moved way up to 33rd place in the year 2014. He has also been declared the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year 2013, in the Entertainment category. Currently he is hosting an Indian comedy show “Comedy Nights with Kapil”.
2) Govinda-
Govinda is an Indian film actor, known for his works in Bollywood. A former politician, Govinda has won a Filmfare Special Award and a Filmfare Award for Best Comedian. Making his debut in Ilzaam in 1986, Govinda was voted as the tenth greatest star of stage or screen of the last thousand years by BBC. In the 1990s, he gained recognition as a comic actor in the romantic movie Shola Aur Shabnam. He played leading roles in several commercially successful comedy films in the 1990s such as Aankhen, Raja Babu , Coolie No. 1 etc.
3) Kader Khan-
Kader Khan is an Indian film actor, comedian, script and dialogue writer, as well as director. He has appeared in over 300 films after his debut in the 1973 film Daag in which he acted as a prosecuting attorney. Khan graduated from Ismail Yusuf College affiliated to Bombay University. Before entering the film industry in the early 1970s, he taught at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai as a professor of Civil Engineering.
4) Johnny Lever-
John Prakasa Rao Janumala better known as Johnny Lever, is an Indian film actor and one of the most noted comedians in Hindi cinema. Lever has received thirteen Filmfare Awards nominations in Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role, and has won the award twice, for his works in Deewana Mastana, and Dulhe Raja. He began his career in 1984, and has acted in more than three hundred Bollywood films.
5) Ashok Saraf-
Ashok Saraf is an Indian actor and comedian. He has appeared in many Hindi and Marathi movies. Since the late 1960s, Ashok Saraf has been known mainly for comedy movies, many of which he appeared in with Laxmikant Berde. Apart from films, Ashok Saraf has also starred in television serials like Yeh Choti Badi Baatein and Hum Paanch. One of his most memorable roles in Bollywood is that of a comical “Munshiji” in Rakesh Roshan’s action thriller Karan Arjun.
6) Javed Jaffrey-
Jaaved Jaffrey is an Indian actor, voice actor, dancer, comedian, impressionist known for his work in several Bollywood films and Indian television shows. His father is the famous comedian Jagdeep. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March 2014 and contested in the Indian general election, 2014 from the Lucknow constituency only to finish 5th.
