A Kapala, also known as skullcup, is made from a human skull. In India, it is generally used as a ritual implement in Hindu Tantra and Buddhist Tantra.

Last year, Mumbai’s favorite Kala Ghoda Festival had Kapala as an art installation which expresses the grave concern of E-waste hazards and management. Kapala is a representation of the future that holds. It is the growing need of being aware, taking precautions and acquiring long term solutions in regards to E-wastages and others too.
