An after vacation is that you go off track on healthy habits you worked hard to instil. Re-establishing them is made possible with the power of routine.
- SLOW AND STEADY
Don’t assume this is going to be easy. Getting started early is a good idea, but it’s important to go easy on you.
- EARLY TO BED
Starting small is the key, the first problem to tackle is recommitting to bedtime. Set a bedtime and stick to it.
- EARLY TO RISE
Have your alarm clocks to waking hours a week before classes start. Follow the routine of freshening up and being at the table on time for breakfast. Go on with the day according to what pleases you, even if that means going back to sleep.
- MEAL
You need to make time for your meals. The holidays must have allowed the influx of fast food into your home. Break the cycle by planning meals for the week.
- DEAL WITH RESISTANCE
Change isn’t easily accepted. Set ground rules and stick to them.
- PRATICE YOUR ROUTINE
Follow the same routine you had before your vacations a little early as it will cause you trouble once your vacations are over.
- STAY HOME
You might have started the habit of staying away from your home with your friends late at night. While the holidays are focused on ‘out of home’ activities, by the end of the break, you should be able to get back to your old routine.
Reading this article will surely help you to get back to your routine life. =)
