Sometimes, in life you lose hope. You feel like you want to give up. But you got to find that inner strength in you and bouncing back is difficult at times. Nelson Mandela, philanthropist and former President of South Africa has surely made his dent in the universe. He was known as one of the inspirational leaders.
After 27 years of imprisonment under South Africa’s apartheid government, Mandela became the country’s first black president in its first multi-racial elections in 1994. He advocated peace, humanity, forgiveness and racial unity. He served a five-year term through 1999 and then devoted himself to charity work.
Some of his most inspirational and thought- provoking quotes are are follows:
The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
Courage is a wise man’s skill. He who does not captures his fears and dread, is the one who will not achieve anything in life. Even in business, courage is when you calculate the possible downfalls and then too face that risk. As we all know great risk brings great rewards as a closet.
The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but rising every time we fall.
A crucial lesson for all aspiring entrepreneurs is resilience and persistence. As Nelson Mandela quoted beautifully, we should not celebrate victories because we did not fail, rather when we get back and face it again!
On Leadership
Leading  does not necessarily mean from ahead. It means that you are capable of letting others move forward and make them feel they are in front while you actually lead from back!
On Success
As an entrepreneur, do something that excites you. Passion has no limits and so does success. Success is bound to knock your door if you follow your heart and do what you love rather than what is “new” in the market.
On Growth
Achieve not by disrupting in a bad sense. Rather innovate and bring ease in people’s lives.
On Life
Spread happiness and aim to make your own mark in the world so they remember you always, as we remember the great Nelson Mandela!
