Sourav Chandidas Ganguly was born on 8 July 1972, and cricket fans used to affectionately call him “Dada” which means elder brother. He is a former Indian cricketer and captain of the Indian national team. Currently, he is a cricket commentator and President of the Editorial Board with Wisden India.
