A very common query in the minds of a lot of BMS students is the impact of passing out from a new BMS college instead of an established one.
They fear that even after putting in as much efforts as the other students from established colleges they might not get good jobs due to the fact that the college they have passed out from is a new college and so is not very well known.
The College you choose at you your graduation level doesn’t make much of a difference because it is eventually the university who hands over the Graduation degree. If your college is recognized by the Mumbai University, you should not face any problems.
Having said that the difference does come in at certain levels, because the kind of faculty available, infrastructure available, peer group, methods of teaching are all very low compared to a student from an established college.
So yes, passing out from a BMS college that is new does have its negatives that your potential employer might consider but it is not a reason for major concern. Work hard get good grades and let them make up for the fancy college title that you are missing!
