How does it feel to be a Topper in the university exams? Whom will you credit your success to? What was your success mantra?

Hi. No doubt it’s a great feeling. I would like to credit my success to my parents, my elder brother, my all faculty members and last but not the least, my best buddies Komal and Bhaskar. They always stood for me and gave me tremendous support as well. My success mantra is to keep calm and prepare for my examinations without any pressure.

Did you prepare any timetable and please share your study strategy/exam tips to crack each subject of sem 5?

Yes, it’s very important to make and follow time table. As far as final year is concerned, I suggest that one should give time to practical subjects in the morning and theory subjects in the evening. As a result, a student can study both practical and theory subjects every day with ease.

Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

Yes I used to go to classes. According to me, students might require guidance for practical subjects. So, they can opt for classes for practical subjects. As far as theory subjects are concerned, you can do it on your own.

What was your specialization subject? Why did you opt for it?

Marketing was my specialization subject. I chose it just because i want to work in this field in the coming future. Moreover, I was a Science student till my H.S.C. Thus, finance was not my cup of tea.

Can you list the textbooks you referred for all?

Since I used to go to classes for practical subject like Financial management, we used to get a sheet full of questions. Therefore, I did not use any text book for FM. For other subjects, I used to study from Vipul Prakashan, undoubtedly one of the finest book to refer for all subjects.

Which was your worst paper? Why? Which was your best paper? Why?

Financial management was my toughest paper. I consider it so because there were many drastic twists in it. To be honest, Service Sector management, Logistics and Marketing were the papers i found best. Basic questions were asked.

Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

It’s quite sad and disgusting to know that students commit such undesirable actions. IT IS VERY NECESSARY FOR THEM TO KNOW THAT MERE A FAILURE IS NOT THE END. It’s just that your success is postponed. So please think on it. In order to overcome stress, I used to listen to music. It worked for me as well. So I recommend that even you must stick to your hobbies in case if you feel that you are in stress kind of situation.

The Black Book project contributing a significant part to the percentage, please share the experiences you had during the preparation of the project and how has it benefited you.

Frankly speaking, It is a good feeling when you create a project of your own. My topic was ” Comparative study between Samsung and Micromax”. I really enjoyed making it. Even BMS students should prepare project on their own rather than going for copy-paste. It will surely help you.

Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS? What are your future plans?
No, I did not pursue any additional course alongside BMS. My future plan is to do M.B.A in marketing.

Any tips and advises for your juniors?

It’s a humble request that you guys start your studies at beginning itself. You need to study practical subjects very well from Day 1 itself, they are scoring. Make your own time table, have a healthy diet and remain stick to your passion as well. Stay calm and always implement your study-related plans, final year will be a cakewalk for you. All the best.
