UP Secondary Education Board Class X and Class XII Exams begin on 3 March 2014

UP Secondary Education Board has scheduled the exams for High School (class 10) and Intermediate (class 12) and they  begin on 3 March, 2014.

Class 10 exams will end on 21 March, 2014 and Class 12 exams will end on 4 April 2014.

39.93 lakh students have enrolled for Class 10 board exam and

31.27 lakh students have enrolled for Class 12 board exams.

i.e. In total, 71.20 lakh students will take the UP board exams 2014.

Compared to 2013, the number of students has increased by 9.5%.

The board exams will take place in two shifts across 10,500 centres, the first to begin at 7.30 am and end at 10.45 pm while the second shift will begin at 2.00 pm and end at 5.15 pm.
