Q.2) 5 Fantastic Facts About Your BMS Life:

1) Positive / Negative things about your college?

I love the faculty of my college. Be it junior college or degree college we have always been having the best faculties who not only have good knowledge about their subjects but also have that unique and important quality of keeping students interested in their respective subjects.

2) Positive / Negative things about your BMS course?

BMS is a wonderful course. The way it has been taught to the students through its interesting subjects is very nice. It covers all important areas of management of an organization or a business enterprise starting from marketing, finance, HR and everything.

But there should be more of practical or field work involved in the syllabus that gives students an opportunity to actually see or experience what they have been studying which will make the course more interesting.

3) How has BMS course helped you to develop your personality? / What did you learn from BMS?

BMS has helped in many ways to build my personality. I can say that before being a part of BMS I had no idea of how things work in the corporate world but now I actually know how things around work. Projects in subjects like HRM, RMB, MM, IMTP, POM etc have contributed in increasing my knowledge.

4) What are the changes you want to bring in the BMS course?

More of field work and practical work.

Help for atleast internships for SY and TY students

Increase the importance of the course in the university. Students pursuing BMS should be getting more importance in the corporate world as it has covered all the aspects of what management is.

All colleges offering BMS should be advised to motivate their students to hold BMS festivals. Because this is an opportunity for the students to not only apply their skills but also to experience how management happens in the real world. It is an exposure that the students can get to the outside world being a part of the college which would later help them in the after college life when they have to go and become a part of some company and use all of the knowledge they have gathered.

5) Share your favorite BMS / college memories?

My favourite BMS memory is our BMS fest ‘Nexus’. It actually helped to apply all the knowledge that I had got while studying the course. Going to different companies, asking for sponsorship, inviting celebreties for judging the events, making management events and conducting them was a great time. Participating in other college festivals was even more fun. Representing your college and winning events for it was a matter of pride. Being a part of all the college activities like annual day and talent and representing BMS was an honour.

BMS was seriously the best and the Golden time of my life.

Q.3) What are the thoughts / advices / tips you would like to give to today’s youngsters?

Youngsters today are very updated, knowledgeable about everything. And keep the power and capacity to achieve all that they wish to. But they lack guidance and right direction. Many people do many things but most of the times they aren’t aware about the reason for doing it. Somebody being very good at finance or designing has just landed up doing BMS just because he dint have the right guidance or then he just did it because all his friends were doing it. Many of them have the opportunity to receive that guidance and direction but yet they do not make the use of that out of laziness and ignorance. They should actually look into what they want, what they are doing and what they supposed to do. Else its just going to result in wastage of time and money. Its like having a Jaguar but the driver doesn’t realize the beauty of having it nor is aware of expertise way of handling it just because of the ignorance. So I would  just like to advice the youth to think before they act and make a choice. As their future tomorrow will be reflected by their decisions today.
