Raj Desai and Pratik Agarwal were college buddies at Vile Parle’s NM College when they decided they needed to be their own boss. After gathering work experience for three years, they setup wifi connectivity solutions firm thinkscream in 2011 with Latesh Galia.
Thinkscream connects, harnesses the power of WiFi Networks to enhance user experience, be it malls, cinemas, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, hospitals or any local retail outlet, they connect businesses to their customers with our Personalised WebApps & WiFi Network solutions.
Connectivity is a necessity today, they saw a huge gaping hole in India when it comes to this aspect. So they took initiative to reduce this hole and solve the problems.
Their first client was Cinemax, they designed a WiFi zone zone that provides users menu of food and drinks on their browser, which allows them to order from their seats.
Last November they set up the WiFi connections at music festival NH7Weekender in Delhi, Banglore & Kolkata with network sponsor MTS. The client also wanted to add a POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT through a social message. So they enabled WiFi garbage bins across the music venues, providing dutiful music lovers who used bins with a WiFi password that gave them access to free internet.
They even created 10,000 unique passwords so users wouldn’t cheat. They say nobody wants to pay for WiFi in India, not the firms who wish to offer it to their patrons and definitely not the consumers who log on.
They are trying to change the world for better, so lets spread about their initiative and help them grow.
