Who doesn’t have to worry about hair-damage and hair care this season? Most of us have bad hair days during the monsoon and can’t select hairdos for our self.
It’s the best season to sport the messy, tousled look since the humidity makes your hair wavy.
How to: Apply mousse on towel-dried hair. Separate your hair into seven or eight sections and loosely braid each section. Open braids when your hair is dry. Then comb with a wide-tooth comb and set with a styling spray. Good for: Short, medium-length and long hair.
Try these quick updos when you’re short on time.
How to: Wet your tresses, apply hair gel (depending on the length and volume) and flick it back into a tight ponytail. For a messier bunch, try backcombing damp hair and use hair spray for a finishing touch.
Good for: Medium-length to long hair.
Be it French, fishtail or regular, plaits are in vogue and a boon in this weather.
How to: Blow-dry your hair and make a center or side parting. Try a full French braid, or if in a rush, plait your hair loosely on one side beginning from the nape of your neck. Good for: Medium-length to long hair.
Feel free with a sexy, slightly undone summer updo.
How to: Make a low ponytail and then twist it into a bun. Leaving a few wispy strands of hair, secure the bun with pins. For a neater look, apply gel on damp hair and go for a tight chignon right at the nape or the back of the neck.
Good for: medium-length hair.
Don’t forget to take special care of your hair during this season and avoid keeping them open. If you do so your hair are vulnerable to get extremely damaged. Shampoo them every alternate days and also keep conditioning them at regular intervals. Avoid using too much of hair-spray too and try these simple hair-styles to look fabulous this monsoon!
