Mangalyaan successfully enters the Mars orbit today making India the first country to reach Mars by spending approximately Rs. 450 crore which is one-tenth of the $760 million Nasa spent on its Maven explorer. Narendra Modi stated in an interview that Indian scientists have achieved this at a cost which is lesser than some Hollywood movies. India is really proud that MOM was developed with homegrown technology without any help of foreigners.
