- Choose simple topics, mostly case study types like Marketing strategy of Amul, Parle G, Impact of cinema, Employees satisfaction survey, Colgate, Indian Railway, Pepsi, Comparison between companies etc. so that you can easily gather information. You must know the basic information of these subjects to prepare a project on it.
- Ask your immediate senior about their experiences and refer to last year projects.
- Use graphs / charts / pictorial presentation and executive summary, conclusion and references. All these should be given proper attention.
- Prepare a presentation based on your project topic including Introduction, Summary, SWOT analysis, Importance, Pros and Cons, Conclusion etc. This will help you understand the whole project in short and also help to revise in last moment before viva exams. Make sure you are able to answer whatever is included in the PPT and project.
- Take a printout of your PPT so that you can easily revise during the last moment.
- Dress up formally, look presentable and be confident.
- Greet the examiner – Good morning / afternoon Sir / Madam. Stand up until you are asked to take a seat and remember you are going for a VIVA exam.
- Always Smile as it’s the most lethal weapon that a human can possess. Do not be panic or nervous, just be confident. Be specific to the question and give simple answers.
- Never, NEVER lie – if you don’t know the answer, just say – I am sorry Sir / Madam, I don’t know.
- Be confident and Stay calm. All the best 🙂
