1. Mahanth Yogi Adityanath is an politician and a priest.
2. He is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament.
3. He was the youngest member of 12th loksabha at the age of 26.
He has studied B. Sc. from the H.N.B. Garhwal University in Srinagar.
4. Four months back Mahanth Yogi Adityanath met 40 muslim families and welcomed them in hindu fold- its ghar wapsi(home coming).Mahanth Yogi Adityanath said “if you return your dignity would be
protected” to those 40 families.The village’s name also changed from Ghazipur to Hari Om Nagar.
5. He said “Nothing wrong in ‘ghar wapsi’ if one does it out of free will”.
