Although Venus is the closest Planet to us but if we are talking about overall structure Mars is considered to be similar to Earth.According to studies it is probably because of the Martial Atmosphere that does not permit life.Here are few facts on the atmosphere of Mars that you probably dont remember studying in the school

1. Its composition includes 96% of carbon dioxide (Earth’s is less than 1% Carbon Dioxide).
2. Mars has very less nitrogen content of 2.7%(Earth with 78%)
3. Oxygen content is 0.13% (and on Earth 21%)
4. 0.03% of water vapour is present (whereas Earth is 1%)
   
   
5. Mars absorbs solar Radiation because of its thin air that’s the reason why its that RED.
6. Also there are temperature fluctuations.
7. But surprisingly weather is constant.
8. During summers the pressure increases by two millibars as the carbon dioxide sublimes the polar ice caps
   
9. Also because of heat small convection currents are formed.
10. The Dust Storms are the reason for the marks on mars that appear through telescope.
