Tell us about yourself
I had done my schooling from Fatima High School, Ghatkopar and my junior college from HR College of Commerce & Economics. Currently studying BMS from Jaihind College. I consider myself very fortunate to have this opportunity.
Tell us about your college
The pedagogy of an institute like Jai hind is respected all over because of its pragmatic nature. The infrastructure is also very impressive. My favorite faculty is Prof. Daswani who teaches us law. Because he gives us information that will help us in our practical life and not just information that will help us score marks in exams.
When did you join BMS? Which year you are in? What inspired you to choose BMS and not any other course?
I am currently in my first year of BMS. Since choosing an undergraduate degree is by far the most difficult decision in student’s life so I wanted to choose such a course that would help in my overall growth both academically and personally.
According to you, what is BMS all about? As a student, what changes would you like to bring in Indian education system?
Get smarter people to teach, appreciation and reward should be given to creativity and originality, more practical than theory should be taught.
Who in your life has influenced the most?
I get influenced by many people (I believe, in a good way). Even when I am on my way travelling to college, by my peers and project mates who accentuate my learning.
What would you advice someone planning to do BMS?
Do a little more work than expected. Research far beyond what your teachers say and I assure you that in the end you’ll be smarter than other and you yourself will see the difference.
