When you are doing an eye makeup the first thing one must think about is eye-shadow.

Eye-shadow is essential when it comes to eye makeup. The application of the eye-shadow is easy and quick to learn. 

Now there are different types of eye-shadow : a normal one, a pigment and cream based. 

All of these are easy to work with and has great payoff if you use good quality eye-shadow. 

In the market, there are so many different shades of eye shadow which are available. To choose the right shade is also important. 

If you have brown eyes, shades like golden, brown, purple and green will bring out your natural eye color. 

This is very important when you do eye-makeup, to bring out the natural color of your eye will your enhance the beauty of your eyes and will make them look prettier.

Use an eye primer on your eye lids to make the eye-shadow give more payoff and to make them last longer. If not then you a cream based eye shadow which has a 24 hours stay. 

Remember that sometimes our eye lids are oily, in such case eye-shadow will crease or will not last that longer. 

In such cases, make sure you prime your eyes prior. One can use concealer if you want to even out your eye lids. 

To apply eye-shadow nicely one must use good quality brushes are well. 

If you do not want to spend a lot on individual eye-shadows then there are many eye shadow pallets available in the market. For starters buy one which has more neutral in it.
