1) Tell us about yourself?
Above as mentioned my basic introduction I would like to further add by adding my future career aspirations after bms I am aspiring to become company secretary. For me practical aspect of life carries more importance then the theoretical knowledge and so i opted for bms course as it gives a option which have a wider scope and taught me a real sense of management, value of time and patience.
2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?
It feels great as they say ” What you sow, is what you Reap” and also it helps you further upliftment as expectations from self is raised way more higher.
3) Whom will you credit your success to?
3. My faculties from college, parents,bms.co.in site, parvathy mam and also my friends.
4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?Â
Truly speaking, i didn’t but I was quite determined about my targets and so for me starting early or later doesn’t matter, what matters is how you start and how you continue with what you started. It takes time, focus and some hardwork with a combination of smart work and at last it is all what you did is reflected in your results.
5) How did you study for Sem V?
5. For sem 5th I started with the subjects that interest me and quite tricky to handle and then moved on to the easier side. Time management is one of the most important factors what you need to plan.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
The easy Subjects in sem 5 th for me was special studies in finance, business ethics, supply chain and logistics.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
7.I usually start the answer with an introduction which forms a paragraph and latter on the important sub points of the answers are in bullet form and also highlighted using a pencil.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
According to me, to solve the case studies you should be well versed with the conceptual part of the subjects along with it some practical knowledge and examples related to the topic also helps when you are asked to give your point of view.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
9.Yes, I do draw diagrams in the paper whenever it is necessary but make it sure it does not take much time. yes it do help to increase the marks.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?
10.I allotted the time as per the difficulty of the subject. Yes I did maintained a time-table for preparing the subjects in hierarchy from difficult to easy.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
Mood swings is one of the problem which is usually faced during the examination’s time and for this I used to take a short nap or go on a walk for ten to fifteen minutes or listen to quite music (usually spiritual songs).
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
12.The Indian education system lacks in the practical aspects of the subjects it just teaches you how to solve a particular answer or how to learn and write the particular answer but in future many times students are faced with the difficulties in their jobs as jobs come with uncertain circumstances and it test your level of knowledge, how to deal with the certain situation and not how to apply a formula and solve the problem there is no proper standard or written theories which always helps you to solve the problem and so the main problem lies in giving more significance to theory part and ignoring the practical and general knowledge for a particular subject.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
13.Self confidence and the attitude of “Yes I can do it” is always keeps you going, under estimating yourself not only creates a problems but also leaves you with a sense of regret in the future and so no matter what, you should keep boosting yourself as skies have no limits and so the supreme creature of god- “The human species”.
14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?Â
14.Through this I have learned that ‘Everyday compete yourself, make yourself better then yesterday” and live with a satisfaction and self contentment.’
