Mumbai Matters, Mumbai’s Youngest Tabloid Newspaper is an initiative by a group of young and veteran journalists/editors Mumbai Matters News is founded by young & dynamic Journalist Mr. Sajid Patel, who holds a degree of BMM of SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College Of Management. Sajid has worked with brands like ZoOm Tv as a Bollywood reporter & with Dainik Jagran group as civic & general beat reporter where he was single handedly managing multiple editions at a time including, filing stories and clicking pictures & contributing to marketing to a limited extent. Mr. Raju Korti, is the consulting Editor for Mumbai Matters, Raju Korti is the ex – Editor of The Hindu, DNA, Indian Express and also is a Mass Media Professor in various colleges.
Mumbai Matters was launched on 30th March 2014, Mumbai Matters has successfully completed one year and recently introduced & hosted Mumbai Matters’ “Maximum Awards” which recognized unsung heroes of Mumbai and various categories. The Event was attended by MLA Manisha Chaudhari, Actor Bhavya Gandhi (Tappu of Taarak Mehta Fame), actor Vinod Singh, Singer Bhargavi Pillai, Indian Idol 3 Singer Emon Chatterjee and various others.
Mumbai Matters aims to highlight the everyday problems of a Mumbaikar. We do not believe that our responsibility ends with reporting on the issue. Mumbai Matters believes in finding solutions to the problems with the help of the concerned authorities.
It covers news from the various cross sections of the society. Mumbai matters also highlights the various aspects of Mumbai, including the city’s culture, food, lifestyle, entertainment, music, architecture, cinema, theatre, arts, festivals and much more.
We aim to promote sports other than cricket alone, including hockey, football, badminton, tennis and many more that lose out on popularity. We will also cover our local heroes who shine out in local sports activities.
Mumbai Matters aims to reach a maximum number of readers in every manner possible right from being available on stands across railway stations, door to door delivery by our own team, courier, post etc. We will reach out to other parts of country and the world through our online website, e-paper and social networking sites like facebook and twitter.
