Admission Process
While selection process differs from Institute to Institute, most institutes follow similar process while choosing candidates. The selection process consists of the following:
1) Written Examination
2) Group Discussion
3) Personal Interview
Eligibility Criteria
An aggregate score of 50% in graduation would be considered eligible for most of the management institutes for General Category while its 45% for the Reserved category.
For CMAT, the eligibility is 45% in graduation and 40% for the reserved category.
Placement & Average Salary
Graduates from good Management Institutes are known to get excellent job placements with fat pay packets. The IIM’s and other “Top notch” institutes claim an average salary of about Rs. 15 to Rs. 20 lakhs per annum while the average salary in the next level of management institutes ranges from Rs. 8 to Rs.12 lakhs.
