Important Dates of CMAT Exam 2012

CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) has been introduced from this year for MBA admissions 2013-14.

Registration Opens: 3^rd August 2012 (Friday)

Registration last date: 2^nd September 2012 (Sunday)

Availability of Hall-tickets: 15^th September 2012 (Saturday)

CMAT Exams – 27^th September 2012 (Thursday) to 1^st October 2012 (Monday)

CMAT Results: 17^th October 2012 (Wednesday)

Availability of Score Cards: 17^th October 2012 (Wednesday) to 17^th November 2012 (Saturday)

Eligibility: BMS Graduates or TYBMS students can also apply

CMAT Score Applicable to: 4000 MBA Colleges and 500 Post Graduate Colleges

Registration fee: Rs.1200 (General and OBC), Rs. 600 (ST/SC/PD) + Bank charges

Students can choose 3 cities in order of preference.

CMAT Pattern

Duration: 180 minutes/3 hours

Multiple Choice Questions

4 Sections : Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

Total No. of Questions: 100 (25 each section)

Negative Marking: NO

Correct Answer: 4 marks

CMAT Exam – 2 times a year

Next CMAT Exam – January-February 2013

Students are eligible to take both tests.

Best of the 2 scores will be used for admission in the academic year 2013-14.
