Prof. Jidnya Patil

We all have experienced “College life”. But in the whole life we may never forget 2 things, Firstly are our friends & secondly our Professors.  Friends do come in our memories but not all and always, because there are number of friends but it is very opposite when it comes to our professors.

“Professors”, are the one who just give us knowledge or the one who just shouts on top of their voice? We all keep hammering them with our hurting words but we never see their loving & caring nature. They are the one who enlighten our knowledge, ideas, deeds, etc. They are the one who shower their knowledge and ask us to spread it like sweet smelling perfumed talc.

I don’t have any differentiation between my teachers but there was some different aspect in Prof. Jidnya Patil. With an anonymous experience of more than ten years Prof. Jidnya Patil, Associate professor at The D.G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science & Commerce, is a shining star to all thousands of our BMS department students. She studied from a north university. She has been teaching subjects like Principles of management, Business environment, Marketing management, Export import procedures and documentations, Co-operative and rural management (which is currently being taught to us), HR management and International Marketing in last semester.

What to say about her, whatever we say is less about her. Teaching is her passion and seeing students passing out with marvelous & flying colors is her dream. Her teaching differed from each and every faculty. She never rattofied the theoretical knowledge and shelled out words but she explained each and every aspect with numerous examples and in easy language.

We received positive response from all our senior students when we asked about her teaching. The dangerous thing about her is that she is the strictest teacher in BMS department. We never looked upon her strictness because on the other side she was friendlier too. Though she taught so fresh fully but then too there were some students in FY’s from vernacular medium who did not understand and that was a greatest pleasure where she explained that person in their language. There are no defects in her teaching.

I will never forget her words:

“Don’t just read and learn but understand the content and then learn”

Whenever students bunked the class our teacher doesn’t shout on them she always cracks a joke on them and it was the time where all enjoyed maximum fun. She herself says students to bunk but on the sametime obeyed her duty and asked students to attend the necessary lectures.

She always takes a round while she dictates us the notes and shouts us seeing our handwriting. But again it was for our good only. Main thing in her teaching was that she never gave us the theoretical knowledge she always updated us with the latest news, the current market trend and much more things. Other than studying she teaches us how to cope up in future.

Our Professor never shouts on presentations. She always knew that some students cannot do it and gives second chance in the intention that student will improve. This was a different thing we all had seen in her. During presentations she always motivated students to improve and yes every student improved and today approximately 90% of the students have now experienced and have done well.

During our BMS festival “Aarambh” she would share her ideas with us. Because of her help we got good ideas in management games and many other things. We missed our professor in the Industrial visit to Aurangabad due to her personal problems.

Her teaching experience to us and all our students have got a wideful experience. She always shared her experience with us and explained and gave knowledge about how to go ahead in your life. She always asked us to participate in extracurricular activities. She always inspires students to go ahead, and enjoy their life with great success.

“Never rely on anyone and do things on your own”.
