  • Tell us more about yourself.

I believe in enjoying my life to the fullest and am passionate about fitness, so going to start my own business in fitness industry in future.

According to me ‘if a person is fit and healthy, his mind works much faster as compared to normal person.’ Therefore exercise regularly and keep your mind fresh and your body healthy.

  • Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?

No, my expectation was just to pass the exam by good marks. Credit goes to my friends Trupti, Sanket, Rohit, Pratik, my BMS coordinator Prof. Selvi and college professors for their support in solving my difficulties in studies.

  • Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?

We had planned a group study before a month of exam and studied according to timetable we had made. We were 5 people in group study and they were Trupti, Sanket, Rohit, Pratik and me.

  • How did you allot time to different subjects?

We had allotted time according to how vast the subject is and we used to study for 3 to 4 hours per day.

  • Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?

Don’t get stressed and keep your mind cool and study accordingly. Try to remember the points as much as possible. Don’t get stressed, do some exercise in order to relieve stress and then study, it will help you. Easy subjects were SSM, SSF, HRM, FM. Try to write your answer in points and write as much points you can write. Remember the concepts and write your answer in your own words. There are no special ways to crack the case studies just read it carefully and write the answer according to marks allotted to each question

  • Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

Theory is self study subject but practical require some extra efforts and that’s why I had joined coaching classes which had helped me to understand the concept and allowed me to do some extra practice of practical subjects.

  •  Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

They are mad. In every person’s life, there is failure and success and even a coin has different sides – head and tail as both are not same. For me my stress management is my gym I go regularly to the gym and even during my exam time exercise helped me to relieve stress and keep my mind fresh, so I can concentrate on studies effectively.

  • Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?

There must be 2 industrial visits in a year and so students can get more practical knowledge. I had visited 2 industries – 1 was cough syrup industry and other was aluminum industry.

  • Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?

Yes, BMS students are flooded with assignments and projects and internal exams. There should be less assignment, and internal exams

  • What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?

Try to understand the concepts and attend as much lecture possible. This will help you to understand the subjects.

  • What are the future plans post BMS?

Planning to do MBA and after MBA further more studies………….

You are doing an excellent job. Keep it up as it helps BMS students to clear their queries.
