It was another day in my life when I never thought that something memorable is going to happen. My first day in College (BMS), I was a bit nervous initially because I wasn’t aware about the lectures timings and respective class as well.
Finally, I got the time-table of my lectures and straight away I went into the class nervously. There were hardly around 20-25 students inside the class and they were just murmuring to each other. The way they looked up at me as if I thought they will sue me or what. Then the Professor entered the class, and it was my turn now.
As it was my late arrival in college,
Professor asked me, “Where were you in last lectures?”
I replied, “Sir, I was sick” (politely)
Professor: “How do I trust you, that you were sick ?”
Me: “Sir, I was really sick”
Professor: “Ok, then from which Dr. you took treatment/medicine? Call your mother”
Me: “Sir, my Mother lives in town; I live as a PG here.”
And then again he told me, “ok, Call your room mate/ friend so that I can trust you”.
And then….it was the most daring moment of my life…..because, if my friend would not have picked up the call, then I was the most ignorable person of the class and the whole class was watching this.
But, finally, he accepted the call and since he knew that it was my first day in college, he just started with the professor that ,
Yes sir wo bahot hi bimar tha….woh bed pe hi tha 3 din se..Dr. told him to take rest. and Blah blahh bhlaahhh………
And then the Professor told me ..oops …Sorry I really took on you…
..and atlast after 15 minutes of hard work I got relaxedddd………Then finally everyone in the class shaked hands with me made friends with ease as I was the centre of attraction for everyone in that class at that time. This was my first day in College that I really miss now also.
