I am Christabelle Rodricks, began schooling at Holy Cross Convent School, Mira Road, moved on to St. Xaviers College to do my junior college in science. Realizing BMS had more scope in helping me to realize the actual happenings in the corporate world, in terms of the vast coverage of export-import, logisitics, finance, retail etc. I decided to pursue BMS due to my interest in gaining wide exposure.
I had opted for retail management in sem 6. Since i wanted to make a career in online marketing and retail, retail was a perfect option for me. It covered topics like online retail, merchandising etc. If you have a flair for numbers, IAPM is surely a right choice for you. If theory interests you, retail is the choice.
I didn’t take any coaching classes as i believe coaching eats up more of your time, rather why not utilize this time in constructive activities.
Since i believed in being independent, i started taking tuitions which consumed most of my time. I also worked as a freelance in promoting brands. I was fondly called as “Christy” in college although i had many other names like bell, jingle bell, silver bell.
My ambition in life is to see myself at a very high position in the field of digital marketing and retail. I had many memorable moments in BMS, one being entering the boys washroom without chappals since on of my friend had taken my bag and my chappals. I had many many funny moments, all thanks to my best friends Liberata who never allowed me to pay attention in class!
I can say that i have stood first but because of the Almight father. I am what i am, thanks to my parents, college professors and my close friends for their constant motivation. There were times when I gave up hope on many things, but they were there always.
It feels good to be a consistent topper especially since the hardwork and dedication finally pays off. Feels great when the college professors and parents tell me that you have made us really proud.
I did refer to BMS.co.in for concept based questions. Besides the site did help me and my class on the happenings of the university schedule since BMS.co.in posted the dates  for the exams and result updates. BMS.co.in also helped me in showcasing my writing skills (participating in essay competition of the best college professor).
