Features of Informal Organisation:
The chief features of informal organisation are:
(a)Â Â Informal Organisation is not established by any formal authority. It arises from the personal and social relations amongst the people working in the organisation.
(b)Â Â Informal Organisation arises spontaneously, and not by deliberate or conscious efforts.
(c)Â Â It is influenced by the personal attitudes, emotions, whims, likes and dislikes, etc. of the people in the organisation.
(d)Â Â It is based on rules, regulations and procedures.
(e)Â Â The inter-relations amongst the people in an informal organisation cannot be charted (i.e., cannot be shown in an organisation chart).
