- Tell us something about yourself
Let me start with the origin of Sense Business, when I was in my engineering I worked for business events and some of local advertising agencies as a consultant. In the meantime, I found it very difficult in convincing the client to participate in branding/advertising activities. Unfortunately, I failed at a client in branding his product and it dragged me into very critical situations. From that failure, I started searching for the strategies that could help a company in becoming more successful. It took one year for me to bring up new strategies that could work for a company very aptly. Then initiated “Sense Business Consulting” on 15th August 2008, When I was in my engineering third year. From then never locked again and successfully empowered many businesses.

- Whom do you admire as your role model? And why?
Every young entrepreneur in India!! Being a successful entrepreneur is very tough in Indian circumstances. Of course, we do have supporting entities in building entrepreneurship. Even though building a business is always a challenging task.
- Management is core to every individual, organization & society. Give your views on it.
As per my opinion, Management is centric for every business. Whatever may the product/services it deals with, all the processes should evolve around the core management. Management should exist to help make things happen, so it should be pretty clear from the outset what these important things are. Successful outcomes should be the basis for any organization’s activities, so management should help do the right things rather than just making sure that things get done right.
- Name 3 qualities of prime importance that a businessman should possess.
Attitude! Attitude! Attitude! That’s what the difference between a businessman and a successful businessman. While considering different aspects of a businessman, attitude makes very unique ambience not merely for doing the business but successfully handling the outcomes.
- According to you, what are the challenges for Entrepreneurship today?
The world is experiencing a transformation like never before. Everything we thought we ever knew is being challenged and in some instances complete concepts, philosophy and the way of doing business turned upside down. This transformation is being a challenge for entrepreneurs and especially so in the business world. Meanwhile, it was a good sign that young and emerging entrepreneurs in India are setting new benchmarks for performance and delivery and day by day changing our expectations for being an entrepreneur.
- Can Entrepreneurship be taught in B-Schools/Management Institutes/Colleges? Is the Name of the Institute from where a student pursues his/her Graduation/Post Graduation or other courses important while setting up your business?
One thing we were clear from the entrepreneurial era was that not every successful entrepreneur was budding from the Top B-schools. It was the passion for being an entrepreneur brought every individual to become a successful businessman. Entrepreneurship has to be taught in a pre-matured level in leveraging paths towards innovation and creativity. Once the seed of innovation start budding in the early stage, definitely the B-schools/management institutes can transform them into successful entrepreneurs.
- Do you think today’s economy is conducive for a new venture to start upon?
We can’t always blame the economical situations. The economy is outcome of what we prioritize in our market segments. One of the key challenges startups facing today is how to keep pace with, and preferably anticipate, the needs and expectations of market. These expectations have changed as we have become better educated and informed about the innovations. We want the entrepreneurs to show that they understand the market needs and being able to deliver them. This demands flexibility and agility from the entrepreneurs to gain and keep satisfying the market needs regardless of economical fluctuations.
- Earning more & more is the motive behind any business. Is it justifiable?
Earning more & more is actually good sign of expediting growth. It was not merely considering the monitory things always a priority. It could be the realm of knowledge, customer retention and many other. Business can’t sustain only depending on financial stability it should even earn more than the precious customer satisfaction, I say.
