Barry Diller is an American businessman who was born Barry Charles Diller on February 2, 1942, in San Francisco, California, US, he is the Chairman and Senior Executive of IAC/InterActiveCorp, as well as a media executive responsible for the creation of Fox Broadcasting Company and USA Broadcasting. A self-made man, Barry Diller started his career at the very bottom of the social scale working in the mail-room of casting agencies in Hollywood. Not fully dedicated to his studies, he gave up University of California after a few weeks in order to fulfill a bigger task, i.e., to launch himself in the commerce online. Thanks to his excellent negotiation skills, Barry Diller made his way up in the world of business thus acquiring the nickname “Diller Killer” as he always got what he wanted.
