After SpiceJet announced Re 1 fares, India’s biggest carrier IndiGo announced own set of summer discounts. 90-day out fares starting Rs. 1389 inclusive of base fare and fuel surcharge has been introduced on Thursday by IndiGo.
In this scheme, tickets to Delhi-Mumbai can be bought for Rs. 2400. These discounted fares are on select flights and routes.
These fares are valid for travel between July and next March.
Tuesday’s SpiceJet offer crashed its website due to a mad rush of passengers.
Indian carriers led by SpiceJet first introduced tickets upto 50% discounts in January. In March, SpiceJet introduced fares below Rs.1500. For all the air travellers, its a bonanza time every month.
GoAir has also started a 48-hour sale offering 30-40 percent discount for 90-day advance booking valid for travel between July and September.
