The party was nice booze all around us, didn’t knew when the sleep fairy came and slept, the sun is up in the sky and head full of pain and dizziness, DAMN! Hangover sucks , a lime juice and everything’s back to normal.   THATS IT?
NO!
Drinking alcohol does many things to us do we know that lets check it out.
Type alcohol at Google we get effects and even benefits.
Obviously it’s not good for us but every day a new research comes up with new theories giving some stress and relief but we are used to it. Here it’s all about alcohol effects (cruel ones), benefits (yeah!!) and controlled drinking.
Let’s start with the harm that it does:
You might feel good and enjoy while drinking but there is some serious stuff happening inside your body.
- Heart disease or an irregular heartbeat, which can lead to a heart attack.
- Breast cancer in women. Regularly drinking just above the guidelines increases the risk of getting breast cancer by around 20%.
- A stroke.
- Reduced fertility.
- Pancreatitis.
SO THE MORE YOU DRINK THE MORE IS THE RISK.
The other segment that is the benefits and some advantages section might sound great but that doesn’t mean DRINK UP!
SOME BENEFITS:Â
It might sound a bit mixed but it does has some benefits according to some researches done by researchers.
- Reduce your risk of developing and dying from heart disease.
- Possibly reduce your risk of ischemic stroke (when the arteries to your brain become narrowed or blocked, causing severely reduced blood flow).
- Possibly reduce your risk of diabetes.
Â
SORRY FOLKS! The evidence or results for the benefits isn’t certain (Awwwww), and alcohol may not benefit everyone who drinks.
Now coming to the last section that is the controlled drinking or MODERATE DRINKING which does helps the alcoholics go happy.
If you choose to drink alcohol, do so only in moderation. For healthy adults, that means up to one drink a day for women of all ages and men older than age 65, and up to two drinks a day for men age 65 and younger.
Examples of one drink include:
- Beer: 12 fluid ounces (355 milliliters).
- Wine: 5 fluid ounces (148 milliliters).
- Distilled spirits (80 proof): 1.5 fluid ounces (44 milliliters).
Moderate alcohol use may be of most benefit if you’re an older adult or if you have existing risk factors for heart disease. If you’re a middle-aged or younger adult, some evidence shows that even moderate alcohol use may cause more harm than good. You can take other steps to benefit your cardiovascular health besides drinking — eating a healthy diet and exercising.
SO ALCOHOL CAN HELP AND DESTROY ITS UPTO YOU WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.
