So at last the seventh Edition of the Indian Premier league comes to end with lot of good memories in our minds unlike its past editions. This time the IPL brought along with it lots of action thrills and nail-biting moments. We look at some of the most amazing highlights of IPL 7 that left everyone gasping for breath.
1) Piyush chawla’s game changing moment in IPL 7 finals: When we go in the flash-back we recollect that in the Match 11 runs were needed of six balls and Mitchelle Johnson, one of the world’s fiercest bowler is on its full potential to not let the opposite batsmen score any runs. But instead of getting frightened Chawla walks around the crease and with a dash of adventurism, pulls Johnson for a six over square-leg thus proving to be a game changing moment of the IPL 7 final.
2) Viru proving himself showing that once he starts hitting no bowler in the world can stop him: The splendid innings of Virendra Sehwag in the IPL 7 Qualifier at Wankhede stadium against Chennai Super kings has made the world his fans again. Virendra Sehwag has turned 36 now and despite the preternatural hand-eye co-ordination he batted so well. He greeted the left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra with three boundaries. Even the spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandra Ashwin were not showed any mercy and were carted to all corners of the ground aswell.
3) Jaw-dropping catches
One thing we say that modern-day cricket has progressed with beyond recognition is ground fielding. In IPL 7 we saw some Jaw-dropping catches by our very own Kieron Pollard and Chris Lynn who took couple of such catches and that to on the edge of the boundary line leaving you scratching your head and thinking how the hell did he do that!!
