The monsoon has begun the lazy mornings seem to convey a glimpse of the monsoon delight .the monsoon like other seasons come along with the double trouble feature…talk about the flu’s and illness?? With malaria topping the deathly yet most common illness this season. Here a few remedies that would be useful
Prevention is better than Cure
Anything with stagnant water exposed must be cleaned immediately. Stagnant rooftops, Flower pots etc
Do not eat junk outside: STREET food is a big NO-NO this season
Keep your selves hydrated
Apart from water one must have a lot of tea especially lemon and ginger since they are rich in antioxidants
Repellants
Various kinds of mosquito repellents like creams, sprays, oils, electronic, coils etc
Anti Malaria Remedies:
1. Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a valuable remedy for treating malaria. One teaspoon of powdered cinnamon should be boiled in a glass of water with a pinch of pepper powder and a tea spoon of honey. This needs to be taken every day which is a beneficial medicine for malaria.
2. Alum
Alum needs to be dry roasted and powdered. A teaspoon of this powder needs to be consumed four hours before the expected fever attack and half a teaspoon after two hours of the attack. It will give great relief from malaria.
3. Holy Basil
Holy basil leaves are a beneficial remedy in prevention of malaria. Make a paste using eleven grams of holy basil leaves with three grams of black pepper powder. This mixture can be consumed daily in the cold stages of malarial fever.
And finally ever heard of that saying “an apple a day keeps the doctors at time it’s time for an orange a day to keep the malaria at bay along with the following remedies
