Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan or better known as Salman Khan is an Indian actor, television presenter, and philanthropist. He is the “Dabangg” (fearless) Khan of Bollywood & is also known as “Bhai” of Bollywood. He is one of the highest paid actor in Bollywood. He is also known as the mentor in Bollywood as under his guidance many new actors has established themselves in the industry.
Salman Khan was born on 27 December 1965 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh to the well-established writer of Bollywood Salim Khan & Sushila Charak Khan. He is the eldest in the family of three brothers & two sisters. Salman finished his schooling as St. Stanisalus High School in Bandra, Mumbai. Earlier he studied at The Scindia School, Gwalior for a few years. As a child he always wanted to be a writer like his father but as there is a saying No one can change their destiny he become an actor & make his acting debut in 1988 film Biwi ho toh Aisi as a supporting actor. His first leading role in Bollywood movie is Sooraj Barjatya’s romantic family drama Maine Pyaar Kiya which was one of the highest grossing film that year.
Salman starred in many commercially films such as Saajan, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun..!(Which broke the highest grossing revenue record earlier set by Sholay), Karan Arjun, Judwaa, Pyaar Kiya toh Darna Kya,Wanted, Dabangg, Ek tha tiger etc. are the name of few films to his long successful career.
After conquering Bollywood he tuned to small where also he started dominating the small screen with his first television debut in 2008, 10ka Dum after that hosting few seasons of Bigg Boss which made him the highest paid celebrity on Small screen. He’s a great human being & an excellent social worker helping many of the needy one. He’s a true Bhai (Big Brother) in all the sense & a great human being.
