1) Bend It Like Beckham
In this movie, Jess (played by British Indian actress Parminder Nagra) is obsessed with soccer, but her parents does not approve let her play because it goes against their cultural beliefs that girls aren’t suppose to  play sports. Jess joins a local team on the DL and becomes super-close with Jules (played by Kiera Knightley). Despite the obstacles they face, these mates are there for each other no matter what.
2) Clueless
If you’ve become friends with the last person you thought you’d ever like, then you’ll definitely relate to Clueless. Â Cher and Dion, the school fashionistas takes TAI under their wings and give her a total makeover who just took admission in posh Beverly hills high school in plaid and overalls .But they’re friendship with Tai goes way beyond hair dye and lipstick: Cher and Tai have their ups and downs, but in the end, they appreciate each other for who they truly are — just like a real friend should!

friendship spans more than 30 years through childhood, love, and tragedy: Cecilia Carol “C.C.” Bloom (Bette Midler), a New York actress and singer, and Hillary Whitney (Barbara Hershey), a San Francisco heiress and lawyer.
