An Interview with Manisha Ramnath Singh, TYBMS Sem 5 Topper, K.M. Patel College (60%)
I never thought that I will top in the college. Maybe its luck because I can’t complete my paper during exams. I always failed to manage time properly. I just want to pass with good marks. I give my credit to my father, teachers Prof. Payal, Prof. Preeti and Prof. Vishal. You can solve your doubts and queries with the concerned subject faculties which makes it easy to study. In our college, our professors used to make us study through regular test activities. All the subjects are easy if you start your study before exam. First study the practical subject, practice more and more for the subject like FM and finance because this subjects help you to score good marks to increase your %. Start your answer first with introduction, meaning, definition, diagram, the answer points with examples and conclusion. Link your case studies question with your respected chapter and then write the answers accordingly. It depends on the students if they want to join the coaching classes. I had joined coaching for practical subjects. I feel BMS students can manage both studies and extra activities. My father who never gave stress to me to be a topper has always supported me in my decisions. I feel parents should not impose their decisions on children who are not interested to do certain things in life – in terms of studies or career choices. This creates more stress for the students making them commit suicides. I had visited limited industries but they are not upto the BMS level. By doing assignments, projects, viva, worksheets, tests its good for students only and it’s also one part of our study but it should be in limits so that students are not pressurized more. It should be more of innovative and interactive learning. Start study from the first day of your college which will reduce your stress at the time of your final exams. I am planning to take a break for 1 year after which I will do MBA.
