Tell us about yourself :  My name is Ganesh Kamath. I belong to a middle class background. I am ambitious wanting to achieve something big in life. I love making new friends, hanging out with friends.  I have interest in learning new things.

Tell us about your college: Dnyanasadhana College is name of the college from where I am pursuing my graduation. It’s located in Thane. Though not so renown still a good college with good management and faculty.

When did you join BMS? Which year you are in? What inspired you to choose BMS and not any other course?
I joined BMS after my 12^th i.e. in July 2009. Currently I’m in the Third Year of BMS. The word Management Studies brought me into BMS. Actually, I had the habit and loved managing things, time, etc, so I choose BMS as this course can mould my managing habits and give it a better finish.
According to you, what is BMS all about?                                                                                                                                  BMS is all about Management of the organization/business. But to be more specific, it is a little of every course that is considered under the Mumbai University.

As a BMS student, what changes would you like to bring in management education?                                                I would like to make the management education more of a practical thing than just a theoretical  ones. As going through this three years, I found out that there is merely theoretical knowledge provided to the students which later may costs them with rejections in job or lack of skills, etc.

Who in your life has influenced the most?

My Parents, as they are ones who mentored me and supported me in every point of life. Late Mr. Steve Jobs influenced me the most.

What would you advice someone planning to do BMS?
It is a professional course where you will learn a little from every course. If you interested in learning different things or you plan to be a business person or anything as such then BMS is a good option for you. BMS opens doors for you in every field be it marketing, finance, retail, etc.
