First Day of My College, Big College, ’A’ Grade rated by “NAAC”. CKT College has selected by University of Mumbai for best college in Studies, Sports, Culture activities etc…Excited of Course!!! But it was a mixed feeling of nervous, excitement, afraid, enjoyment, sacred etc….
First day (after reaching the college), feeled proud or appreciated of being a Manager one day. First lecture lots of new faces (excited to make friends), some were introducing themselves to their neighbour, while some were silent…. There were near about 30-40 students in a classroom….Bell ranged & Lecture started respected madam/ sir started going to their own classes to introduce themselves to their new students. Sir entered in our classroom introduced himself (including his qualifications) then he introduced the Rules of the college…
Rules- 1. No Mobile phones (of course felt bad)
2. Presenty compulsory
3. Uniforms compulsory
4. Must come on time
5. Only English speaking… and many more….
After a period the nervousness came down as we started making friends already. The thing I liked about BMS was the sirs/madams already treated us professionally (that’s a good feeling), they talked & treated us professionally (it was a different experience). Felt like we are a Manager already. Infact, the teachers were already stared to train us to stand and fight our own fear of nervousness to face people & talk without fear.. For this the teachers came out with a best solution- to introduce our self in front of whole class & that to in English as there were many students from vernacular medium…
First day was quiet interesting as it helped us to know each others.. Teachers support, produced a good bond (to us students).
