News from the capital but not it’s not political. “NaMo” the popular short name of the current and the 15th Prime Minister of India has been used by a homegrown IT firm Innovazion in New Delhi. Innovazion has named their new antivirus software as “NaMo”. The software will provide free protection to PC users against malware and antivirus attacks just like PM Narendra Modi is trying to protect our country from Inflation, Terrorism and many more such viruses.
The current version of NaMo offers basic protection, the company plans to launch advanced versions of the software as well as those for Apple’s Mac PCs. The current software will be regularly updated.
Innovazion CEO Abhishek Gagneja told that 57% of the Indian internet systems either have no protection or are using unknown applications for protection of their devices; this is the target segment for NaMo AV. There is no association with any political party or leaders.
The features of NaMo AV include real-time detection of infections, intelligent scanning, custom detection and it is light on the hard drive i.e. it requires less space.
Innovazion started in 2007, is present in seven countries worldwide which include India, USA, UK, Germany, Canada and Singapore with over 500 employees.
