For all undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Mumbai University is going to remove the controversial 60:40 formula of external and internal assessment. It could either be reduced to 75:25 or 70:30 from 2014-15 for first year students. According to UGC rules, minimum 25% weightage would be given to internal exams. The final decision would be taken in Academic council meet by end of February 2014.
Will this decision also affect professional courses like BMS, BAF,BBI or it will be restricted to B.Com, B.A. is still not clear!!
