Democratic Leadership

Democratic Leadership : Democratic leaders believe in participative style of management, and involve the followers in decision-making. He has a liberal attitude and is open to ideas. He has faith in his employees/followers. Because of these traits, he is supported and respected by his followers. He believes in team spirit and thus believes in ‘Us and We’ rather than ‘I and Me’. He believes in principle of cooperation. Because of his style of functioning, various alternate solutions also emerge and new ideas are generated. Large organizations, where many professionals work, require such type of leadership.
